There are several possibilities to reach Palanga:
- Palanga has an international airport (http://www.palanga-airport.lt/en) but the number of flights and destinations are limited. There are direct flights from Copenhagen, Riga and Oslo. The flights from Warshaw will be opened from 2016 March 28th. There will be 6 flights per week.
- Another option is to arrive to Vilnius airport (http://www.vilnius-airport.lt/en/). There are direct busses from Vilnius bus station to Palanga (around 8 buses per day). A special bus will be provided by the organisers free of charge for the conference participants. Further details about the bus will be announced at a later time.
- There are buses from Kaunas to Palanga. This option is suitable for the people who are planning to reach Lithuania by bus. It is better to go to Palanga from Kaunas (8 buses per day) in such a case.
Official currency in Lithuania is Euro.
Visa and MasterCard are accepted in most shops, hotels and restaurants. You will find an ATM on nearly every corner.
Electricity in Lithuania is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second. Plugs are European standard with two round pins.
